I love the abstract look to this. I would have liked to have seen the red things (can you tell I'm not a botanist) all in focus, but then the background wouldn't have looked as abstract. What's a photographer to do...

Nice colors, looks almost 3-D to me despite the shallow DOF. But as far as composition, I find it a little unbalanced. The pollen-heads (or whatever the worms are), look randomly scattered, and a bit too much on the left side of the picture. If you are going to re-shoot, may be that's one thing to keep in mind. Otherwise, a very pleasing pic to look at.

I agree with Badri.. I guess a little zoomed out and little more blue would have made this frame magical

I'd liked to have also seen this shot at f/16 or f/22 to increase the DOF. Nice colors.

This is excellent, as is. Great abstract. The texture of the pollen is very nice, and they do appear to be disconnected from the plant, due to the dof, as if they're falling from the sky. Great work.
