I don't really get the concept (if there is one). But your model is beautiful, but as for the lenses, I'm not down with canon so I look right past them. contrived

The question that you've used as the title, is actually an important one. I have just recently purchased a 5D and the same lens used in your photo. I have heard it said this lens may actually be too sharp for portraits. I am wondering if you have ever found this to be true?

 

As for the photo, Love it! Especially the red backdrop!
