Yeah, I know, the highlights are blown, but there was little I could do. Since this shot was taken on the spur of the moment, the pose is spontaneous and not perfect.
Exif data shows that the camera used the following settings: ISO 100, automatic white balance, +1 stop exposure compensation, internal custom settings contrast-1, saturation+0, sharpness+1.
The camera was hand-held. The image is not cropped and not manipulated.

Finding a spontaneous pose with a new subject isn't easy at first.

Fortunately, this girl was not the least camera-shy and we got some

nice portraits with both of us lying on the grass.

I'm certainly no expert when it comes to portraiture, but the pose seems comfortable and relaxed enough. I'd like to have seen beter control of the highlights on her arm.

Thank you again for your advice on the wedding thread. I see you are from Germany. I love Germany and especially the Rein Mein area! Miss it greatly and hope to return some day.
