mmmee 0 Posted June 2, 2007 Nice find Pnina This is a very nice play with forms and light/dark spaces. I found myself wondering what this would be like in square format and had to take it to play. What fun! I found that it did not work in square, but that I did want the railings going perpendicular even though they are on a curve. The perpendicular lines seemed needed to complete the triangles formed by the stairs. I added a bit of contrast and brightness to try and emphasize the dark/light forms. This is a very dynamic photo and works really very well the way you have done it in black and white. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted June 2, 2007 Thanks to all of you! M.M thanks for taking the time, I did that crop before uploading it, but was not happy with the result and I will explain to you why. Without that cropped part the composition looked to me too serried, not enough breathing space... as is, it has a continuation, and compositionwise it looked better to my eye. I would like to ask you how did you take my photo out , before the changes in the site it was easy , but now if I want to work on a photo to show what I mean, when I save the photo it is saving all the thread.... Please let me know how do you take out only the photo. Thanks for your visit and comment. Link to comment
mmmee 0 Posted June 2, 2007 Yes, I see what you mean about the continuation. The lines of the semi-circle of light caused by the railing and the light behind it. I took your photo in the usual way. I right click on the photo and save image as. I didn't realize there were changes. I am using Firefox browser to do this. Link to comment
