beaz 0 Posted June 1, 2007 Hi Lesa, I like the pose and composition here. Two things I wonder about: First, there appears to be a halo around the brighter parts of the image. I'm guessing this is a reflection on your filter? Second, since the picture seems to have exposed for the highlights, you lost a lot of shadow detail. Using your flash in this situation would help eliminate the harsh shadows. Regards, Jerry Link to comment

lesa jones 0 Posted June 1, 2007 Thanks Jerry....in post process I softened (at the request of the subjects-- in order to help smooth wrinkles and sunspots.. :), which could contribute to the halo. Thanks soooo much for the input....will continue to "tweak"... Regards...LJ Link to comment
whwhitejr 0 Posted June 1, 2007 Hey Lesa, Jerry is correct a little fill flash will help rid the shadows on their faces. Still a good composition. The fence is cool. Keep shooting, Buddy Bill Link to comment
bekster 0 Posted June 4, 2007 Hi Lesa. This is really a cute group shot. The photo is nicely exposed for the light you were working with. I would not blur the picture, people are too sensitive about aging methinks and uncomfortable about being photographed... Try reducing the contrast then sharpening it up a bit. If you have some bad skin then just use some very light and local softening. Cute pose and love the hats, some really special ladies I can see. Link to comment
