Natural Abstract - Take 2

For the many 3/3'ers who seemed to dislike the inverted version of

this image, I'm happy to provide the more conventional upright

Hey Scott now this is how this awesome shot is supposed to be viewed!!!! The texture on the mud is great! A very rich print! I didn't hate it last night, but i love it now!!

Wicked shot Scott! The lighting is cool! The effects of nature are so awsome aren't they!! Sorry I didn't see the other version, I am heading to your port to see if I can find it.

I like it too. I wonder what it would have looked like without the big rock at the top. Even more abstract? And how about in black and white? Great eye, well spotted as an opportunity!

Before posting it I tried cropping it further, or going with black and white, but both attempts seemed to almost eliminate the point of interest from the shot. I think the contrast of the rock brings a bit of life to the image. Thanks again for the critiques everyone!

Well, Alan already asked about the 2 points i was thinking of : the upper rock and the bw. I'm still not fully convinced by the rock and its big shadow, maybe it would be possible to crop & use the top of the clear yellow stone as a strong point, i'm not sure. And I like the mud brown colour. Nice and original picture.
