samrat 1 Posted May 29, 2007 Impressive use of lines. The basic principle of photography, i.e., to draw the eye into the picture is followed very well here. The composition is interesting...did you use a wide angled lens here? Link to comment
alan p 0 Posted May 30, 2007 I agree with the previous comments....this is a very eye-catching shot. I really like the unusual angle, low to the floor, which gives an unusual perspective. Wide, wide angle....wonder how close you were to the train?! Like the composition with the photo effectively split into two halves top and bottom. In a word: excellent! Link to comment
billfoster 0 Posted May 31, 2007 Incredible. I've seen a lot of train in motion in the tube shots but this is so far beyond the norm. Just perfect. Link to comment
richard_collins1 0 Posted May 31, 2007 Great photo Todd, did you use a fisheye? Once in while a really original composition comes out of p.net, and this is one of them! Link to comment
toddlaffler 0 Posted May 31, 2007 Thanks everyone. I used a 15mm fisheye ona Canon 5D (no crop factor). I didn't have a tripod so I just put the camera on the ground. Thanks Todd Link to comment

bretsch 0 Posted June 4, 2007 This image certainly is a great example of how to use a fish eye for photographing architectural subjects; a specialty in which many fail but you succeeded. Congratulations on a magnificent picture! Link to comment
