But what really gets me is the loving look on the woman as she reaches in with an appreciative. Thanks for a great reminder that Memorial Day is a day to remember the complexities, the lofty goals, the realities, and the individual aftermaths of war and service. Link to comment
Alx 0 Posted May 30, 2007 Powerful composition! The principal part of the information (heads, glances and wheelchair) is around the very strong line: bottom left - up right. Can I make a suggestion? The image would be better if you could make a little cropping to eliminate some useless and disturbing elements.(see attachment). I think this photo is one of the best of your portfolio. I don't know very well about this type of ceremony, but I find that the emotional tension released by this photo transcends any cultural difference.
