Guest Guest Posted May 28, 2007 Michael, the handling of the main subject, both in terms of expression and technique, is wonderful. The lighting of her, her gaze, her lips, her discreet eyes, all work beautifully to set a mood and capture and convey emotion. The whole idea of the piece shows a lot of sensitivity and insight. But to me something feels off about the deep shadowing of the second subject. If the lighting fell off more subtly, I could believe this photo. But as it is, I am too conscious of a post processing statement and left feeling that I want more ease and naturalness. I think this image would express every bit as much with a little less intervention. --Sincerely, Fred Link to comment

daryl_crouse 0 Posted June 2, 2007 My primary attraction to your work is the feeling that the photos inspire. It doesn't matter whether if they are of architecture, abstract creations, animals, or people....they all offer more than just a simple capture. This one is an excellent example. Thanks for sharing.
