ts_photo 0 Posted May 25, 2007 Nice, sharp appearing and contrasty B+W. But the processing and burning of the sky and lower left corner detract from the image. The tonal values don't balance, in fact, in several parts of the image. These excessive effects don't aid this image. /.. Link to comment
judyroush 0 Posted May 25, 2007 Beautiful portrait of this man and his world. I love seeing people within their surroundings. The light and shadow is intriguing to me, and I love his hand on his staff. The valley fanning out behind him gives me an idea of his world. Link to comment
michaeldaggett 4 Posted May 25, 2007 Very good. I like it all. The composition, the contrast. Great work! Link to comment
rejith 1 Posted May 25, 2007 Have you tried adding say 10 % yellow and red tonings, to bring more of an old look to the shot ??? More balance in tones that way may be ... Just a thought ... Link to comment
owp 0 Posted May 26, 2007 This is a great shot. The background sky looks a little unevenly burned though. Good work. Regards, Oliver Link to comment

jana 1 Posted October 14, 2007 I somehow think the image is manipulated as the light comes from left, but the sun is going down behind the man. cheers Jana Link to comment
