I seem to remember a Bill Garber from my Army days. Were you by chance at Fort Benning back between '62 and '64?

Nice to see two woodpeckers at the same time, well done capturing that. I think the composition, light and colors work very well.

Could it have been at one of the following, as your name also rings a bell:
