Pierre Dumas 264 Posted May 24, 2007 What are those bright columns and stripes doing up there?! Remove them! The bench is beautiful, I adore that kind of benches! And the stairs are good, not quite sharp all the way, but it's too dark for stopping down the aperture! There may be a column, pole on the upper end of the stairway and should be, but not that bright, blurry and a little bit displaced from its real aesthetically looking, place! Yes, the grass is nice too! And very original picture! People rarely seat on benches almost naked! What is rare it is original, right?! Alex, I'd like you to see something very, very different, but a masterpiece on which I've spent hours and hours to make it perfect: http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=6003525 Thank you in advance! P.S. Don't be naive, the "ambushers" want to be anonymous and if they tell you why 3/3 they will discover their identity! Guest Guest Posted May 24, 2007 I personally like how the whole background is working in this image. It's soft enough to draw your attention, but not long enough away from the main subject. The first thing that I noticed on this image is the rim light or back lighting! Very crisp and helps set the model apart from the rest of the scene and gives it a 3D effect. Overall, beautiful subject and well shot. Link to comment
the chicago 0 Posted May 25, 2007 Well done !! I like her pose in the chair outside rather than the studio or the house. The lighting is also very good. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted May 25, 2007 Salut Alex.Cum ai avut curaj sa fotografiezi intr-un loc public asemenea gen?.Eu n-am curaj nici pe strada...simple street shots.Oricum...lumina e super pe corpul ei.Era seara sau dimineata?.Si compozitia e buna, foarte originala.Numai bine. Link to comment
matusciac 0 Posted May 25, 2007 thanks... this picture came with a price... my flash (forgot it in the park) later that night i was going to take pictures in a bus station beside an empty commercial panel... the light was superb (5 big neons) and a soft panel... all white.. but the cops came and ask us to leave... :P it was funny, because me and the model were cought in the shooting and did not realize that the cops parked their car and watched for a couple of minutes. thanks again! vtennyson 0 Posted May 25, 2007 I suppose if I was a cop and I saw a photographer with a pretty, naked girl in a park; I probably would think to take a few minutes before interfering too:) Maybe a smoke break, a sandwich and a cup of coffee... It's comforting to know that a photographer of your caliber is also bothered by the non-commenting 3/3ers. This is another wonderful picture in a great portfolio. Link to comment

bob bennett 0 Posted May 26, 2007 ..might have been more interesting without the young and pretty naked woman. I'm sorry folks, but young and pretty naked women are NOT original. It takes a remarkably talented photographer to do nudes well. Most of the nude artists here just use young pretty breasts to make up for a lack of talent. And it works, almost every time. There actually is good nude work here, but you have to dig through all this crap to find it. Peace, Bob Link to comment
atanu_ghosh1 0 Posted May 26, 2007 Excellent light and composition. The stairs do give a perspective but the bright poles behind is distracting. Link to comment
sawicki 0 Posted May 26, 2007 Great composition. Very original and fresh. She looks almost like driving something :). Great contrasts in the bacground and this wide composition gives a lot of space visualy. Lovely model as well. :) Good work. Link to comment
sinjin_smith 0 Posted May 27, 2007 Matusciac, Great shot. I was not distracted by the white columns in the back, but do understand how that might bother some. My only criticism is that I am not sure the heels work, perhaps barefooted would have give it a more completely relaxed feel. Lighting is excellent, especially as it as it plays on the model and the set; the stairs give the shot great depth. Also, thanks to our mutal friend Wendall: I wanted to see who else he lambasted as a smut pedlar besides myself (seems he did a great deal of research on that topic). Nice work. Link to comment
poets_pen 0 Posted May 27, 2007 I personally enjoy this shot and find in very intriguing in all aspects. Creativity + composition + aesthetics + contrast. The model & pose is positively alluring. Link to comment
ionita_razvan 3 Posted June 18, 2007 So nice :) I envy you ;) Good luck! Toate bune si cum spune cineva "lentile limpezi". Apropo ... ai scapat de trei... dar ai un patru... deci nu ai scapat de tot de "oameni de bine" Link to comment
mikelgondra 0 Posted October 25, 2008 She is one of the finest and most elegant nudes I have had the opportunity to enjoy in PN. The pose is very elegant. The model is wonderful with a very nice face and legs long and beauty. The black high shoes are also fine. I perhaps agree that the white columns in the background could be a little strange but they counterbalance perfectly the light excess in the garden-seat. My only critique would be that both arms of model are a little too tense and I love relax in all model pictures - but I admit relax is very difficult in some beautiful poses like this one. A 7/7 undoubtely. All the picture is a magic art object of sensuality. Congratulations. Ikusi arte, Alex - basque language "see you". Josemi Gondra. Link to comment
