Self Portrait/Partial Nudity

Great natural light and shoes again, Kenrick. I like the gradual transition from light to shade, and the other shoe and shadow of the near foot in the distance. Good background. You really should stop scandalizing us with this nudity - bet you're not even wearing socks.

New,handsewn shoes again?It's the good side-effects of our digital era.You don't have to spend a lot on film/developing/printing/enlargments etc.I'll grab my 6MP 4yearold Kodak and start shooting.It'll be a chance to buy new shoes that way.Nice idea Kenrick.And well done.Keep it up,and no more nudity from you,OK?

Excellent POV...I like the shadow of one shoe on the other...but the tip of the right shoe seems a bit overexposed

Kenrick, some interesting lighting possibilities here, and I hope you carry on down this avenue with various subjects (my wife says she has beautiful feet and so do you, but there are other things on God's green earth). Lightwise, this is an extremely impressive image.

Creative stuff here and very good. I did not read all of the comments but I will nit-pik just a tiny bit about the lost highlights on the shoe which is a small point in the enjoyment of this photo. bravo 6/6.

Anca, Jan told me if I took off my shoe I would have to paint my toes. So I don't know if I'm up to that. If I did could you recommend a colour? Ha ha

While I find the picture scandalous I do think it is very nice technically. Great colors and dof and everything else. Now, cover yourself!!

This site is absolutely going to the dogs. To show such nudity is surely beyond the pail. The bare, tanned, unclothed skin of a calf, turned into a shoe, needs to be censored. However, my compliments to the shoe maker. His stiching is totally awsome...Bert
