Yes, this is a pretty impressive little camera in some ways, although it does sometimes fall down on optical quality--see Alex's on-target critique of this shot--and it has some sensor noise issues which show up at higher magnifications. At this level of shrinkage though, it can produce images rivaling those of an entry level DSLR--an example of why they call the internet "the great equalizer" for looking at photos.

The Hellcat is painted after the aircraft flown by David McCampbell who was the US Navy's leading fighter pilot with 34 credited victories.
