danstan 0 Posted May 21, 2007 A very beautiful capture. I wonder how Ansel Adams would fare on this site when it comes to originality Link to comment
regis 0 Posted May 21, 2007 Thanks for your comments. I really appreciate it. Daniel - I would love to see that :) Too many photo.net posters seem to think that originality simply means shooting something that the viewer hasn't seen before. That seems to be, dare I say it, a very unoriginal concept of originality. I just concentrate on expressing the mood & light of a particular place and I make no apology for photographing another sunset on this planet (as long as it shows some magic colours). Regards, Piotr. copeg 0 Posted May 21, 2007 A beautiful capture of the light, land, and water. A very difficult photo to get as well, esp. looking into the sun. Excellent shot. Link to comment
Fishermang 0 Posted May 22, 2007 Very nice and colourful! I love how the sunrays hit the foreground, adding that beautiful colour. Very well done! Link to comment

dougie 0 Posted June 11, 2007 Quite superb Piotr, the detailed colour is picked out beautifully by the last rays of the sun. Dougie Link to comment
kurt2006 0 Posted March 14, 2008 Piotr, outstanding. I will email you. I am impressed that you achieve this result with your 20D. It's really excellent work technically as well as compositionally. And you are quite right about positioning the horizon off-center. Cheers. Link to comment
