The compositional elements are great, but I find a foreground lit to this extent against a setting sun to be too incongruous. The balance of light is too far out of the range of my experience, whether trying to capture this with a camera or simply looking at it with my eyes. As a result, it looks (to my eyes) like two entirely different photos (even though I know this is not the case) that have been blended together, but that have each kept their separate identities. For me, if the foreground was toned down a bit, the image would have much more appeal.

Stephen - You're right that that kind of light is out of a camera's range, but I can't agree with you that it's too incongruous. The eye's capacity of perceivng the light is more then double that of a camera's, so that kind of image is what people normally see before the sun sets. Anyway, thanks for commenting my photo.

Thank you Jesus. I didn't use filters. The top and the bottom are two seperate exposures, each with a 2 EV difference.

Wow! This is amazing! I love the composition. The birds flying is just perfect. I wish I can see the image better. Somehow the reflection of the grass doesn't seem real. I feel like it's too digitized. Besides that, great colors!
