theodeby 0 Posted May 17, 2007 The Kaisterstuhl is a volcanic area geographically set between the French Alsace and the German Black Forest, on the east side of the river Rhine. The micro climate is excellent for cultivating wine grapes. It is one of the oldest wine areas in northern Europe. the first ranks were planted by the Romans. Link to comment
