furs and feathers - black Busted!

Yup, I like that piece of cheap optics a lot. :-) It gives rather nice distortions and deep DOF, but the softening of the corners is horrendous. Sometimes that softening works well, like IMHO, at the circus image, but on many other moments it disturbs. But, as I don`t own any better "fisheye" lens at this moment, this is a nice toy. But what makes me kind of wonder, is the fact, that I shoot allmost 40-50% of my images with the 300mm lens. That is 450mm lens when one counts the crop-factor of Nikon dslr-cameras... That second hand lens is one of my very best purchases ever, at the price of 110 euros. :-)
