The hands of time

An 87 year old Thai Woman's hands tell a thousand tales. This picture was taken originally in color but needs to be in black and white to work for me. On too many of Thailands islands in the Andaman Sea, the culture is quickly dissappearing as hotels and bungalows go up and throngs of tourists scatter the beaches topless. This was taken in a fishing village on Ko Jum, an island just north of the popular resort of Ko Lanta. No electricity, internet and only sat phones in some places.It is just starting to grow in popularity with travelers as bungalows pop up here and there.
