Very sharp, nice capture. I'd crop to square and eliminate the pink/purple on the right, I think in this case it distracts from the insect.

beautiful Ellen, gorgeous shot. I think sometimes distracting things in a picture can make someone take more time to look at a picture, be it a phot or painting. I like the pink, it makes you look and refocus on the main subject and brings balance.

Ellen I agree in that I do like the pink also. I guess in the designer's eye these 'distractions' add to the informality of the composition. It creates the 'imbalance' that makes it appealing. Good macro work as always.
