I can imagine this image with heavier shadows, a more complete darkness....but then you would lose some sense of texture. The contrasting textures are interesting. Perhaps, though, they are not being well-served by the digital processing. It's hard to say at this resolution. The watermark would be better placed in the upper right corner. Given the strength of the diagonal, it would be less obtrusive there. Is the title intended to be ironic?; There's quite a bit of tension in the photo. However, it doesn't feel ridiculous to me. Nor is it quite tragic. Well, I reckon in small amounts it suggests a little of both. Great shot. Link to comment
