dangoldman 0 Posted June 12, 2007 The brightness calibration for this is a bit tough... On my monitor i have the bottom of the wing essentially jet-black, so assume that this is how the picture is intended. High gamma monitors will easily see the insignia on the underside of the wing though. Critique welcome. Link to comment
k5083 1 Posted June 13, 2007 I can make out the insignia if I place my head directly in front of my LCD. Interesting composition with a nice diagonal and the diagonal plays on the sweepback of the T-6 leading edge so you get bonus points for emphasizing a distinctive feature of the airplane. If I could change one thing it would be to have the whole wing and pitot probe in focus but that woudl be mighty tough. Although I like the pic as is, cropping about 1/3 off the top and 1/3 off the left would also work. Link to comment
dangoldman 0 Posted June 13, 2007 I can see the insignia if i point an external light at my CRT and put my head right up next to it. On my laptop, its clear as day... Thanks for your critique August. Link to comment
dangoldman 0 Posted July 10, 2007 Hey, if i had a tilt-shift lens i could probably have both in focus pretty easy right? :)... just thinking out loud and i dont have much to do as film is being scanned.... Link to comment
