janisok 0 Posted May 14, 2007 Thanks Jim. Is that really what he is? He was on my delphinium. Just sat there looking at me as I tried to get closer and closer!! Thanks for commenting Jim! J Link to comment
j.k._york 0 Posted May 17, 2007 he does have quite an agressive posture. excellent close-in work. i like were he is positioned at the nodal of the stalk which works well in the composition. well done. J.K. Link to comment
dennis jones 0 Posted May 18, 2007 Nice lookin' assassin bug.... My only pick is the soft focus... This could be a time that you were too close to the bug. Link to comment
janisok 0 Posted May 18, 2007 I have a small handicap. I need to be wearing those "readers" (shhhhhh) and really can't stand the thought of being dependant on them. When I ran through PS I truly didn't notice that one of his thingys was out of focus....nothing I could do about it if I did really, I was just really proud to get his eye!! This was done hand held, no tripod, and I was so scared he was going to jump on me! Thanks for commenting! J Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted May 22, 2007 Janis, I don't do many nor am I any kind of an expert on macro shots such as these, but I do like it, especially because of that subtle eye watching me. I also like the composition a lot. Link to comment
maggies 0 Posted July 20, 2008 Love this shot. I keep waiting for a bug to pose for me but it rarely happens! My best...Marjorie Link to comment
