well done. amazing detail

he does have quite an agressive posture. excellent close-in work. i like were he is positioned at the nodal of the stalk which works well in the composition. well done. J.K.

Nice lookin' assassin bug.... My only pick is the soft focus... This could be a time that you were too close to the bug.

I have a small handicap. I need to be wearing those "readers" (shhhhhh) and really can't stand the thought of being dependant on them. When I ran through PS I truly didn't notice that one of his thingys was out of focus....nothing I could do about it if I did really, I was just really proud to get his eye!! This was done hand held, no tripod, and I was so scared he was going to jump on me!

Janis, I don't do many nor am I any kind of an expert on macro shots such as these, but I do like it, especially because of that subtle eye watching me. I also like the composition a lot.

Love this shot. I keep waiting for a bug to pose for me but it rarely happens! My best...Marjorie
