Yesterday I found this kitten in the gutter and I am now trying to

feed it with a bottle. Today I have it outside to enjoy the grass.

Shhhh, my typing is too loud. ~ Again, I am lying ON THE GROUND my

nose face to face with the kitten to get this shot. I would love to

know what you think. ~ thank you! ~ micki

I have told the kids this is NOT a mother's day gift and no we do not get to keep it. I will feed it and give it away.

It cries like a baby and is REALLY cute but I wanted a PUPPY! HA! LOL. We think a boy in the neighborhood left it as a prank. SAD!

Adorable kitten....are you certain you can give it away after taking care of it. :) Great capture....

I knew they would if I could just take care of it this weekend.

My doctor wouldn't let me keep the silly thing regardless if I tried due to my ammune being low right now. One scratch and I risk an infection and that is not worth it. BUT boy she/he was so cute!!!!

I got lots of pictures to have and hopefully another one won't show up on my door step like this one did as the "kid's" who did this were arrested Sat night and are hopefully on a tighter leash themselves.

What a beautiful capture! I hope the home he gets is as loving as the one he just left! It's frightening to know that people can harm these innocent little things. What a scary world we live in!

NOW is when I wish we lived on BASE again (we are military) at least I know I could call the MILITARY police. Here these kids get arrested and they are out the next day and the PARENTS don't care. Arghhhh

AND, I can't do anything because I have a 13 yr old boy and a 14 yr old girl and my 14 yr old babysits for the 15 yr old boys younger kids. I might have to stop that. :(

Of course HE is never home because he is out causing problems and getting arrested with his friends. He turns 16 soon so he might stay in jail. Sad to say... one could only hope he stays in jail. :( WHERE are these parents!!!

Kids doing drugs etc... I watch my kids and know where they are 24/7 and know who they are with etc. Parenting is my job.

You have a wonderful boy (MAN, ooops), you must have been a great parent!!!

I wasn't strict with my son. but I had high expectations. And I was a parent first. And he lived up to the challenge of both! hahaha So many people are selfish and absent from their children now. Permissiveness runs rampant. But it is also in our court systems. I feel for you and Andrew trying to raise kids in this day and age! It can't be easy! You sound like you are a good parent. Because of that, you will have friendship with your children later on when they are adults.

Hope the kitten finds a home that will love it.... Happy to hear that the boys were arrested and, hopefully, learned a lesson. It's a scarey world out there these days. I'm thankful my children are all grown but still have the grandchildren and great-grandchildren to think about. Sorry to hear you've been under the weather again. I haven't been able to contribute too much to PN lately but hope to get back on track soon.

Bad thing is these boys didn't get arrested for this kitten Joan, they got arrested for breaking an entering a building and then running which is a felony for some of the older ones. BUT, their parents bailed them out and then let them roam the area free and clear. SO, I am keeping my kids (as always) close by since I never let them out of my sight. Hopefully they will be spending their summer (those boys) in a work camp :)
