maria 7 Posted May 11, 2007 This is a block of flats of Mᬮai and Haᳺ on the Ir᮹ street in Budapest, built 1912. It displays the English influenced puritanism of Mᬮay (according to �kos Morav᮳ky). The facade is lacking ornaments, is covered with stone and the upper three floors are connected in the middle axis with a bow-window. There are quotations from historism: the diagonals of the parapet in front of the recessed upper floors and the columns. Link to comment
