My dog Amber.

I was sitting outside with my kids and trying to get the dog to

cooperate, but she refused to look into the camera with the

landscaping behind her. After numerous misses, I finally got this one

shot. She's a great companion. She's about to turn five. I've had her

since she was nine weeks.

My dog will stare straight at you forever, until you have a camera in your hand, let alone up against your face... I think its because i once did a semi macro session on him and he has a fear of the flash...

She is beautiful! And it's a lovely portrait! Golden Retriever?

Actually she's a Korgi/Retreiver mix. If she stood up, you'd see how short her legs are. But she's fifty-five pounds, so she's pretty big.

now that's a rather strange mix! You'll have to send me a picture of her standing! She doesn't look like she has short legs.
