zigzag 0 Posted May 10, 2007 I find the plasma shroud (is that a thing?) around the bolt interesting and the weaker forks that you don't see in a lot of lightning shots (which are darker). Perfect timing and the low ground and vertical composition emphasises the strength of the strike. Impressive. Link to comment
kenrick 0 Posted May 10, 2007 Fantastic lightening shot Kenneth. One really gets a feel of the power in this. Link to comment

Landrum Kelly 64 Posted May 11, 2007 This is a great one, Ken. Since the upper part is obscured by what looks like clouds and rain, I am wondering if this was one of those massive six- to ten-mile-high bolts from the cirrus anvil, or close to it. You must lead a charmed life, Ken. Try not to get fried or blown away. --Lannie Link to comment
dennis jones 0 Posted May 11, 2007 I'll bet this one pack a big concusion, heh???? Great work. How long on the expsoure and F/stop? Since I've moved to the boonies, I haven't figured out where to go to get these good ones.... Link to comment
