Stranded

The seaweed abandoned by the receding tide seemed to be desperate to

return to the sea. Can you feel the yearning?

I suppose so, though I would have tended view it more abstractly, as an interesting upwards sweep. However, what I would point out is that you might be better off dealing with the barrel distortion. That little wave at the top of the image is critical, and yet it arches in a way that looks unnatural. I'd run it through one of the lens correction filters in PS.

This piece is beautiful. Mermaid's hair? I like the way the seaweed pulls one's eye to the ocean. It is a great image.

 

Thanks for the comment on my photo, Thoughts. In so many ways I am still a newbie. I will try what you suggested-am still learing how, though.

Frankly, I think your title is genius. I love it! Using this weed, you found a wonderful metaphor of life.
