mvisionphotography 1 Posted May 9, 2007 Not manipulated I made a PS version of this earlier here and realized I needed to post this untouched version for everone to critique. Thank you for looking. Enjoy! Link to comment
torfinn 0 Posted May 9, 2007 A great shot, Micki. Good colours, and composition. Nice frame. I like it, but think your first one was showing more of your creativity. Best regards, Torfinn. Link to comment

mvisionphotography 1 Posted May 10, 2007 Torfin, I am so humbled you like the origional one more.... I do think I like it the best also as it is one of a kind. I can take more of these but ART is hard to reproduce. Link to comment
jan_piller 0 Posted May 10, 2007 Micki this is beautiful!! The composition of the tress against the orange sky is so striking! And happy belated birthday!! I did not know it was your birthday in April 28th! You kept it so quiet! I have it marked down for next year now. Unlike me - I tell everybody and so I get more cards and presents! hahaha You really must learn to play it up more! Link to comment
mvisionphotography 1 Posted May 10, 2007 HA ~ but it was my 40th and so hey you don't keep try to keep it fairly quiet. Alpo knew... HA! I forgot all about this picture but when I was clearing the computer out to transfer pics I went OH WOW! AND... this is untouched. This is in the set of the waving pod thing and the sunset was beautiful that day. Ok I am humble, we ALWAYS have great sunsets that I get bored taking pictures of them! BUT, I have figured out winter sunsets are much nicer here. Link to comment

jan_piller 0 Posted May 10, 2007 Bee photos? I don't have a macro lens. I would like a macro lens. I would like the 800 or so dollars to buy a macro lens. Link to comment
mvisionphotography 1 Posted May 10, 2007 Husband wishing he had HER CAMERA!! HA!! Of course my husband has the SLR so I have to buy the Rebel to get the SLR and then by the time I get the Rebel he will want the and Macro lense that costs $800. YEP! YIKES!!!!!!! DID you use a real CANON before getting the digital Rebel? My friend did and when she came to visit she had no clue how to use any of the functions so my husband had to teach her (she was still on auto). I got her a book on You know my Fuji has a macro on it it has a little flower button. I use it to photograph CHOP CHOP. he he SERIOUSLY I want his SLR!! It has the coolest swing out screen where I don't have to look threw the PEEP hole. I hate real camera's and I love looking at the screens. Link to comment
jan_piller 0 Posted May 11, 2007 I started shoting manual as soon as I got my Digital SLR (Rebel XT). My last camera was a Canon S1 IS (image stabilization) with 10x zoom. It also had a swing out LCD viewer and it would spin right around backwards (real easy to take a picture of yourself!) It got stolen. That's why I got the Rebel XT. I've never done any photography with a film camera. Link to comment
mvisionphotography 1 Posted May 11, 2007 It got stolen :( how sad!! That is what Andrew has and he loves it but as you can see he is TOTALLY enthralled with the BIG camera even if he says he isn't. I have thought about getting myself one just like his but I wasn't sure how my Tremor would do with it and he wont let me play with it. I absolutely LOVE my FUJI as it compensates for the tremor and even JK says I do pretty darn good for a point and shoot. I want the spin around because I never take a picture from eye level. That is why I never took pictures in the first place. My FUJI doesn't even have a peep hole at all. I always hated looking through an eye thing. All my previous picctures cut off peoples heads or got my thumb in it. I was REALLY REALLY bad at taking pictures. I have learned fast since January. Link to comment
