thats a Great Blue Heron and you caught him in a great landing pose. excellent wing spread. harsh light most difficult to deal with for shadow details. a two for one. good job. J.K.

Thanks for leaving your comment. Yes, lighting was tricky and this guy did NOT want his photo taken...but I persevered and kept following him, determined to "win"! I was pleased with capturing him in this position~ Herons are such graceful,shy and unassuming birds. Cheers, Iren
