jonathancharlesphoto 0 Posted May 7, 2007 The evening sunlight brought out so many shades of green that it didn't seem to matter that there were no other colours in the scene. Comments and crits are very welcome. Link to comment
japi 1 Posted May 7, 2007 Very nice effect, Jonathan. The "ton-sur-ton" resulted very well. Congrats Link to comment
bjcarlton 0 Posted May 13, 2007 Love the colors. This camera view to me, however, wants to move a bit right, so as to include some more to the right and a little less space on the left. My eyes keep going to where the two tracks intersect, right on the right hand margin, and to that bush, also on the right hand margin. Even if you don't include anything more on the right side (be a good lad, will you? and pop out and reshoot this?), I think you could profitably crop closer on the left side, even all the way to the tree. There really isn't much of anything interesting happening there. Link to comment
jonathancharlesphoto 0 Posted May 13, 2007 Good points - but I wanted the design to kind of scoop up the sunlight coming in from the left, which is what the valley seemed to be doing. So I had to leave some room on the left for the sun to get in. Thanks for your thoughts. Link to comment
