Looking at houses still damaged by the aftermath of hurricanes Ivan and Dennis you can see where people come and party and leave their trash all around the area near the bay and what used to be million dollar homes.

It is really wild how I am seeing things in such a different light and how a simple beer bottle becomes such a different object of art when taken from a different perspective. I didn't touch a thing here and I only took three pictures and moved along.

I just walk along with my little point and shoot camera and click . My husband found it odd that almmost everything was able to be read and that I personally only drink the water Aquafina (made by Pepsi). The white stuff is the the stuff from a house that no doubt flew off of one of the houses from somewhere a long time ago.

I to found this very artistic and wondered to myself how trash could actually be so pretty when the sun hits it this way at sunset. Thanks Michael :) ~ micki

Well... actually i don't care they are not in colour... cause they are not elaborated, they are natural and there's a good sharpness. Your toes have never been so pretty, and sexy :P

what i find interesting is that either those are full bottles of beer, or the drinkers carefully put the bottle caps back on. nicely balanced b/w composition. the vinyl siding is a great diagonal aide to the piece and adds the reference to hurricane damage. well done. regards, J.K.

They are empty but each one does have the caps on them. AND so does the water. It was like they were making sure the birds didn't choke or something. Very weird. The wild thing is that this is really on the end of a road of houses that half of them are gone (million dollar homes) and then just two blocks away are trailor parks. Florida is weird (as you know).

We left this area when some people showed up to smoke some stuff and drink.

Very interesting, Micki. Val Savoie has some good post-hurricane documentary shots. Pleased to say that I don't!!

I see you found some garbage! I must caution you to be careful when you come across such scenes - you could get hurt! Hey toes.. this is one of those photo where I think I would like to see you in colour but leave the rest black/white. Just a thought. I think that you should always be in colour in this series even if the rest of the shot is b/w. Bye toes!

Okay, you take your toes to many kind of places... Take them away from this one, before they get hurt. We have the same kind of places, all too familiar sight! :-(

Nice capture, anyway! :-)
