I have been looking at this picture as well as your other color picture and there is something about them that made me keep looking again and again.

 

I decided that I like your black and white very much, I find them to be excellent. But I could not make up my mind about your color pictures. Finally, I decided that you have taken color pictures as if they were black and white, and I do not think that works as well.

 

Your black and white pictures show that you understand the craft of photography so well that you have gone from being someone who understands craft and you have become someone who can express artistic vision. Your black and white work is truly beautiful. It is delicate, powerful and evocative. It is full of nostalgia.

 

But I think that the two pictures of your color work that you have posted are composed as if they were black and white. Both the composition and the tonalities work beautifully in black and white but I do not think they work as well in color.

 

I will keep coming back to this page to look at your work. It is truly special.
