stovall 0 Posted May 7, 2007 Part of an on going series of pictures done with available light at night in my home town. Patrick Street is the main street of Dublin, Texas. In this as many of the series, I'm trying to capture the 'empty' feeling one fines in these small Texas towns at 4 or 5am in the morning. Link to comment
setsu r. 0 Posted May 7, 2007 so clear and sharp image, like I'm there standing. want to know how did you take this, like open time and iris... Link to comment
emma kowacz 0 Posted May 7, 2007 It does feel empty however but i would have taken a step forward or a few steps backward to acheive that feeling. I think perhaps it would seem more empty if the fore ground and background were more distinct of one an other. Interesting concept though. keep up the good work. Link to comment
corbin 0 Posted May 7, 2007 The early bird gets the shot! Beautiful light and colors. But I think the awning on the building cuts on the feeling of openness. Moving a bit closer and lower would have improved the perspective (The road sign would be clear of the building behind it, and you would have more open space above the bright area in the center left of the image.) stovall 0 Posted May 7, 2007 I used a Canon 5D ISO3200 and the 35/1.4L at 1.4 1/100 handheld For those question on how it was shot. Link to comment
