I like both your postings of this handsome fella but this one stands out for me a bit more because of the framing, it really makes the Baboon (?) the center of attention as a strong portrait subject. The sharpness of detail is excellent.

Wish you hadn't nipped the chin whiskers.

As Susan mentioned, the border really helps strengthen this photo, unlike your prior photo that is able to stand on it's own.

This is a superb portrait, Ellen! perfect close-up and colours.

Thx a lot for your comment in my basilica photo.

To answer your question, I just love the 5Dmk2! The best camera I ever had. And the quality of build and the sharpnes is flawless.

If you say you have problem with the autofucus, it could be a lens problem.

Is it always with the same lens that you have problem autofocussing?

Because you mentionned having the same trouble with the 50d.

Also, with these new cameras, you have the option to do aufocus micro-adjustments for your lens.

Like I did with the 100-400mm on the 5d2.

Here is a link to help you understand: http://www.northlight-images.co.uk/article_pages/cameras/1ds3_af_micoadjustment.html#AF_test_image

Let me know if it works.

All the best!
