Jason, this is about 20 miles WSW of Eugene in the small town of Crow. There's less than 100 of us out here, well it's not too far out, just close enough. The original settlers were into cattle and this farm is still with the original family descendants from the land grant days.

You live in a very nice area and you must be a morning person.

As for the morning person comment, Missi (my wife), gets up between 4-4:30 (day off or work day) while I'm up just before it starts to get light. So, if it's sunrise at 0800, I'm up at 0730. If it's sunrise at 0530, I'm up at 0500. Not Missi, always up between 04 and 0430. Now, here's the funny part, when we're out on the road and camping, I'm up around 0400 and I always have to wake Missi up. She could sleep forever it seems, when we're out and about.

You haven't posted a New Year's photo yet so I came looking for one.....this one works well, the dawning of a new day/year. The colors here are so sublime, it's truly a magical time of day, the world is "kissed" with that wonderful light once again. Happy New DAY to you and Missi.
