A perfect setting, giving depth to the image in every sense. The absence of colour in the background helps to focus attention on the model.

I like your environmental portraits more than I like your studio stuff. Perhaps there is something in the fresh air that inspires you. This picture, with the nice depth of field has a beautiful 3D feel that gives a sense of depth and mystery to the poser. Her glance away from the camera suggests she is hiding something from us, a feeling accentuated by the dark shadows to her left. This is like a still from an Alfred Hitchcock movie or a film noir classic. Well done.

Thanks guys, Spencer, it's a very close-up study and I am squatting with a wide angle lens to make her taller. So there's some obvious distortion.
