flynn 4 Posted May 4, 2007 This is very unique place on Earth, only 10 people are allowed to go there a day and 10 lucky others have to wait for the lottery results day before at ranger station. In comparison how big the Wave is here is link to photo with the scale (person in the wave): http://bp2.blogger.com/_fq7hZApeIas/RituPgZbUqI/AAAAAAAADCM/GynuNIoQ7nI/s1600-h/7.jpg Link to comment
ffrank 0 Posted May 4, 2007 Very interesting photo. I love all the lines and curves. Colors and comp are great but I think it could be better without the contrails. Well done flynn. Link to comment
flynn 4 Posted May 4, 2007 Thanks for comments. The contrails on the sky are made by planes and that was how I photographed this place. In ideal world may be we can think if it is better or not and you are right, but to capture The Wave in this weather and be lucky to get there is for me a great accomplishment. Some people I mate there had to wait 5 years to get the permit.I don't do any changes in Photoshop which would alter the original capture. Only the usual minor adjustments like contrast and sharpness. So contrails are there. Link to comment

talhakhan1 0 Posted May 5, 2007 Makes my eyes wonder and wander all over the photograph. Love the lines on earth and the skies! Link to comment
lucyhollis 2 Posted May 5, 2007 Your style of curved lines being reflected between sky/ground, foreground/background or top/bottom works so well! Especially in this series of national parks, it gives a feeling of being at one with the the world and every element of the landscape and intergral part. However I am not sure how strong this nature in harmony message can be when the clouds are so obviously created by aeroplanes! Anyway it makes a good photo! Link to comment
flynn 4 Posted May 5, 2007 Lucy: I like your comment and I can see your point about pristine landscapes and fact that cloud trails on the sky are made by planes. All I can tell is that especially location of this place - The Wave is so unique and untouched that even plane trails in the sky wont change the overall feeling and attitude. You are also right about the elements - we all are made from them and be able to experience display of true nature elements in a way like it is in US National Parks is amazing. Something like watching great documentary - Planet Earth from BBC. Thanks again for sharing your opinion. Link to comment
