Not sure I like the name of the plants in the picture name but the shot is absolutely brilliant. DOF, contrasting colour and saturated to perfection. Fantastic 6/6

I agree about the crop name! In the U.K. we call it 'oil seed rape', (or just 'rape'), which is most unfortunate ~ especially in a title on a photo site!! So I checked out the net and found that the crop is also known as 'canola', which has a lot better ring to it!!

Well spotted. I actually 'flattened' the shot slightly to squeeze it to a 2:1 ratio. I'm fairly happy with it, but would have preferred to have left the tree at its original height.

A shot which I would have been truly proud to have taken myself. Astonishing colours, sharpness, detail and composition. Simply awesome!

Very nice photo first off, but in the details you state that the stitched photos are hdr'd. Could you please explain. Does this program add the three dimensional quality this picture appears to have?
