Jack McRitchie 150 Posted April 30, 2007 What do you have, an exclusive contract with the gods of winter to shoot discarded junk emerging from the snow? Great shot. Once these stoves were someone's pride and joy. Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted April 30, 2007 What a pleasant surprise. I've been crying in my beer over the loss of the dissidents last year, Laurent L, then you announcing a departure. I want you to know that I am honored that you have chosen to view some of my work over the last year, and have bestowed some pearls of wisdom in your comments. They will always be appreciated. Cheers to you, my friend. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted May 1, 2007 David, particularly because it IS a black and white shot. A lot of photos are done in black and white to make them look more artsy, not because they really demand it. This one demands it and works beautifully. The hardness of the cabinetry against the softness of the snow is great. Fun and interesting to look at. Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted May 2, 2007 Thanks a lot. I, too, felt that there was really no choice for this one. It was meant to be B & W. Link to comment
