Oh dear Tanya, what have you done to me. I have never commented on a male nude before. I know no one else that I would do this for .... :-)

 

Hmm .. I like the genuine, causal pose, it's what I would try to capture with one of my female models. I like the lighting too, which is very hard, almost impossible to get right in contre lumiere conditions. Well, the young man looks very masculine also, which translates into what I would judge a photo of a female model by, or the equivalent. So if you add the overall compositon and the very pleasant tones, I guess this works out into a pretty good photo ... :-)

 

With all respect to some of my fellow photographers, there are some absurd ratings here ...

And no! ... you cannot photograph me if I photograph you one day ... :-)

Every man wants me to photograph him...nude; you will change your mind ;o). Ah! i was reading about Lynn Kohlman today, she was a supermodel then becoming a famous portrait/fashion photographer. For some reason, i can totally identify with her characters/personality/life. Her story is an inspirtation for me.

 

At the time, she was the only female photographer to apply "MALE" as a medium of expression in her photography :o).

This is a nice departure for you, and I'm glad to see it. It's good to see you venturing into other areas.

Bravo Tanya. Only a woman's eye can make a really good nude of a man. The composition, light and sepia works very good.

Like John, I have never commented on a male nude before (Homophobia????), but this foto forces me to comment. As John said, the lighting is excellent and the pose is extremely natural. Well done!
