Burning Ships and Praying Hands

shrine of saint Madhu Lal has a great well where fire burns.

afflicted and needy go there, put candles, oil, wood in the fire and

pray for their afflictions to be eased out through their devotion to

the saints. this group of women stands around that well, few weep

out of sheer spiritual ecstacy and others pray. comments/ critique/

ratings welcome.

Excellent picture. Colors, exposure, mood and composition are all there.

What a statement of faith. This photo has a lot of depth. As I look, I'm scanning the faces of the women and each set of eyes tell a story of pain and expectation. Well done.
