This is an old churn drill, found back in the woods at a now abandoned

zinc mine. The drill is about as long as a train locomotive. They were

used to drill holes in the ground to locate limestone rock that

contained concentrations of zinc ore. This is the gear that turned the

wheels.

Very nice shot Doug. Lot's of texture and shadows. The composition is very nice. That old wood in the shot really adds to the beauty.
