Waiting, Praying

I like this photo, but I feel like it needs some work. Any

suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Alex.

You should always feel like something 'needs work.' The minute you say "It's done!" -- It's overdone. Awesome shot. The ground is a little hot, though.

For some reason the black really jumps out at me on my monitor. Nice photo all the same.

 

Very well seen. My only preference is to have captured more of the area to the right, opening the image and providing a little more context and depth, as well as decentralizing the main subject. Nice work!
