the juxaposition of the person with the lawnmower and the army vehicle is dramatic. I think I see tanks in the background as well...so this is either an exercise or the person is very very brave or a bit of both.

 

And if you think about it, the lawnmower is at a 1/3-1/3 point approximately and the man is on the other other 1/3 line and I think that makes the composition even better...

I just showed this to one of my Sailors and we both got a good laugh out of the shot. As stated above, the composition is dead on perfect and the clarity and focus is perfect. I like that it fades away with the distance and thus, the DOF is just right, too. The humor in the HUMVEE sitting in the taller grass trying to be inconspicuous is not lost. I hope the man mowing can see the vehicle in time before he cuts all of the grass away.

Thank u for the comments. The picture is not taken during a real military exercise it is only the the official day of the army and a festivity was organised in a big park. The quality of the picture is not that high beacuse this was an instantaneous photage.
