Think I overpowered the reds with the out of focus pinks, trying to

save the blues.Any suggestions?? (and torching it is perfectly

acceptable)

Doug, I'd never thought of the foreground out of focus and the background in. The little window on the right through which the blue petals peek adds a nice touch. It really is a creative approach and I intend to flatter you by copying this technique it as soon as possible. Regards, Bernie

Thanks, Bernie.I was shooting through to include the blues, and had set the aperture to give me about half the softness of the foreground. I must have moved in closer while composing, without realizing it. I still like the colours and the general composition but feel it's out of balance.Glad you liked the idea.
