alight 0 Posted April 27, 2007 very well done. Colourly it's a feast for the eyes. The background couldn't be better. Great framing. Did you do some painting, or is this pretty much straight from the camera? Why did you cut off the roof? I find this framing OK, just curious. Did the fence end up there and would the photo show something un-photogenic? Anyway, as I said - a feast. Could you pass the sauce, please? Cheers, Micheal Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted April 27, 2007 Frankly I'm a little bored with these old vehicle shots from Montana, but I think this is the last one. And, yes, there was some junky scene above, and it would have just been the pits, so I cropped in camera, so I can't go back and look at what was there. The image is almost totally the way it was. I have upped the saturation just a bit, and cropped. That's all. Link to comment
katzpjs 50 Posted April 27, 2007 A great image, and I love the snow patterns on the car but how can an automobile be considered to be "VINTAGE" when it does not have any headlights? Rated anonymously as 6/5. Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted April 27, 2007 Well, I really don't have the drama that your series did, but the sky was nothing but gray, so I had to go with what I got. If it hadn't a been for the license plate, I probably would not have shot it. Link to comment
alight 0 Posted April 27, 2007 I was gonna give this photo 7 for aesthetics, but Pnet wouldn't allow it, as you rated one of my photos 7 two days ago. So rather than give you late ratings, or no ratings, I gave it 6 (I think that late feedback doesn't have as much zing). Does this makes sense? Cheers, Micheal Link to comment
laurent_jaussi 0 Posted April 27, 2007 Gorgeous colours, I like the orange dry grass as an echo to the wood barrier...nice PoV and the crop...the car looks like embebed in the wood barrier...a very nice photo...been very busy at work these days and had not much time for PN but I'll catch up... bosshogg 4 Posted April 27, 2007 So glad to see you back. I hope you do not feel obligated to check in because of my inquiry. But I do hpe you will be posting soon. It seems we have had to run with a shortage of Laurents lately. Thanks for the comments. As I stated above, I'm kind of bored with the same old stuff, and am really looking forward to some new challenges. I'm going on an extensive cross country journey in a little more than a month from now, and hope to get some fresh images. Link to comment

bosshogg 4 Posted April 29, 2007 Ah yes! For us really old folk, we can still hear that catchy little tune rolling over and over in our heads. The younger ones are saying, "Dinah who?" Link to comment
dberryhill 3 Posted April 29, 2007 Dinah who? I like this. The colors really give it life, and that red license plate does add a special touch. Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted April 29, 2007 Thanks. I know you are old enough to go back to that era. Link to comment

kentb2 0 Posted May 3, 2007 Wow! The color is really impressive. perfect light, just the right amount shadow, lovely detail in the tall fine grass, the red plate is vintage goodness. Just love this shot David. Even the slight tilt is and heavy right of frame is probably the best way to go. Link to comment
