John Peri 1,007 Posted April 26, 2007 Hm .... interesting Michael .. a nicely balanced picture. The two work well together, as does the change in tone. What adds to the interest is that the subect is peeping out between the slightly opened shutters ... I keep lloking at it and putting my hand on the screen. I wonder if the photo on the left is not strong enough to hold attention on it's own .. Link to comment
marleft 0 Posted April 26, 2007 Interesting double image synthesis. The left one is a photo and the right one elaborated painting like, composition. I should like to see Michael, more creations by you, on this style. Link to comment

bartimeus1 0 Posted April 27, 2007 Hmmm... I like the left one more than the combined image. As someone noted, the idea of her peeping out of the allmost closed blinds looks good. Also the geometrical continuity pleases me, I mean that the bed starts a vertical continuity that transfers through her legs and back to the blinds. Well, it doesn`t hurt the beauty of the image, that she has a very beautiful body. :-) Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted May 1, 2007 Michael-- I like the one on the left, in blue, by itself. The effects on the one on the right are a distraction for me, whereas the one on the left expresses a very real and very thoughtful approach to a nude. It's a great pose, great composition, wonderful storytelling, and nice soft lighting. Link to comment
tanyatruong 0 Posted May 3, 2007 Another angle of "Awaiting...". You give me ideas now Michael. I think i will come out more series of "Awaiting", and we'll compare notes ;o). BTW, i like the gray tone and its alteration. Of course,it's from being influenced by classic painting that makes me like it better than the blue tone. Best regards, Tanya. Link to comment
