mercedes1 0 Posted April 26, 2007 Perhaps a high frequency and high voltage? A TIG HF starter would do it. You can get them to make sparks like that against anything, even your hand. They are used to provide a path of ionized air for the lower voltage yet higher current of the welding arc to start so you don't have to actually strike the electrode against the work piece.
