I just clicked these while we had a conversation and I thought the expressions showed so much and the treasure of the moment was worth sharing.

Thank you for looking.

I wasn't sure how to showcase these and I really didn't know if they would be liked.

I clicked them from hands level with my point and shoot camera while we were really talking after I witnessed a really bad car wreck and she was comforting me.

My husband had dropped my camera and I was making sure it was still working and she had no idea I was taking these pictures and I had no idea if they were going to come out.

She stayed up till midnight when I came home so these pictures mean alot to me so I really feel like they are special and your comments mean a great deal.

Micki, these are absolutely great images. They transmit the original and honest meeting and the sense of being there. I do hope that she values these as much as viewers do. - Or, at least some of us do. This is so very fine collection.

I also hope that you and Fergie are OK, after witnessing that car crash! I have to view the portfolios of both of yours, if there are images that were shot from that location. I also hope that the people survived from the crash.

Give my regards to your daughter and Fergie!

Everyone was ok except the guy on the bike. The guy on the bike has a major issue with one leg (major damage to his leg).

The guy driving the Camero fled and was drunk and the passenger of the Truck caught him. Everyone else was fine. The two in the car that caused the accident were both very young and drunk. Both just got "kicked" out of the military,

I, of course given my now medical stressed condition lost it on the scene and that is why my duaghter stayed up waiting for us as she is always very worried when I go out anyway. She has very much taken over the "mommy" role in some ways and has had to take care of me when I have been sick so she shows a bit of that conversation and tired look in these pictures.

SHE DID love these pictures and has used them on her MYSPACE so YES they were a HIT!! ~ YEAH!! :)

It is good to hear that most got out OK... Hopefully the person with the leg-problem manages to keep his/her leg.

It is also good to hear that you two have so nice relationship. :-) She must have a great personality - and at the same time be a real teenager, too... ;-D

So, how are you now? Has the pneumonia allready eased? And how about the tremors? Is it known, what causes them? She gets to help you now, as you have helped her, when she needed - and needs - your help.

Oh, I just noticed that you have formerly mentioned that you have own web-pages. Are they publically available to view?

Micki, I think you have a really good eye for what works in black and white, this is an excellent compilation, I bet your husband is very proud of you! Thanks for your comment under "Spring Color". I will be off line at home for a few weeks-we are changing internet providers, so I will talk to you "when I get back"!-bet you'll be even better by then!

This is so "real". I can just picture the two of you sitting at the kitchen table chugging down coffee and doing girl chat. By sharing these particular photos you have invited all of us into your family. For that, I thank you!! As for the technical.. great job! the blacks are black and the whites are white and all the greys have their own personality!

These are great, Micki. My favorite is the bottom right, but they all work together so well. What a sweet girl!

Also a nice set of pictures....very real. The many moods of adolescence. I particularly like the one in the right lower corner. This is the look I'd get when I'd tell the kids I was working with to stay in school and be nicer to their poor parents. Whatever.....

I thought you might like them both.

I thought seeing the two and the way they are different you would be able to appreciate it more than most. :)

This is a good set of pictures. The two at the top illustrate the average teen quietly and peacefully looking to the parent for guidance and reassurance while the two lower ones show the contemplation and quest for individuality and a voice to be heard.

My oldest, a girl, started when she was 12, she is now 15 and as the saying goes, the younger they are, the smaller the problems, the older they get, the bigger the problems. I think of them as challenges, makes your 9 - 5 job seem like a breeze and a sanctuary.

Nice, thanks for steering me here and commenting on my son's pic. I'll post a B&W version when I get around to working it into B&W
